II Medieval Hunting Meeting coming up this month
Preparations for the 2nd Medieval Hunting Meeting are well underway, the coming 23 and 24 October. Organised by NEMUS along with the Institute for Medieval Studies (IEM) at NOVA University Lisbon, this year the MHM enters into a partnership with Parques de Sintra, which has enabled the meeting to be held at the magnificent Sintra National Palace. One of Portugal’s emblematic medieval locations, it is deeply rooted in the history of hunting, making it the ideal setting for this year’s topic. ‘Setting up the Chase: Where and When?’ promises to continue scholary debate by bringing together international researchers from different disciplines, in keeping with the mission of NEMUS. The meeting (held in English) is open to anyone wishing to join the sessions and take part in the planned activities. Registration is free, but must be submitted by filling out this form until 22 October. We look forward to seeing you there.
Come join us!
