She is a PhD candidate of Medieval Studies (NOVA-FCSH; UAb) and of the École Pratique des Hautes Études. She is a PhD Fellow of the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (SFRH/BD/ 143626/2019), currently working on her PhD thesis about the portuguese diplomats during the reign of D. Dinis (1279-1325) focusing on the relations between the Portuguese kingdom and other Christian powers. She is a researcher of the exploratory project FALCO – Hypothesising Human-Animal Relations in Medieval Portugal (EXPL/HAR-HIS/1135/2021).
