
Inês Correia
Art historian
Inês Correia is an art historian, book conservator, and apprentice falconer. She holds a doctorate in Art History from NOVA, on the archeology of illuminated manuscripts from the Monastery of Lorvão.
Inês Correia has been a conservator since 1996, specialising in books, and is an apprentice falconer. She holds a doctorate in Art History from NOVA, on the archeology of illuminated manuscripts from the Monastery of Lorvão. She has joined/led conservation projects in Goa (India), with the support of the Oriente Foundation, in Deir al-Surian (Egypt), at the service of the Levantine Foundation, and for UNESCO in the preparation of the Lorvão Apocalypse (1189) nomination as a Memory of the World item. She is the commissioner of the exploratory project LivrObjecto – Anatomy and Architecture.
