Isabel Drumond Braga is a medieval and early modern historian at University of Lisbon’s Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, and also a member of the research groups CIDEHUS-UÉ and CH-ULisboa. She had researched on animal studies, food history, gender studies and the Inquisition. Prof. Braga is the co-editor (with paulo Drumond Braga) of Animais e Companhia na História de Portugal, 2015 (ISBN 978-972-42-5081-6) and the author of “Vieira e os Animais na Obra Parenética”, Vieira esse Povo de Palavras, edited by J.E. Franco et al. (2016).
