Joana Lages Gonçalves holds a degree in History from NOVA University Lisbon, where she is currently pursuing a MA in Medieval History and belongs to the Intitute for Medieval Studies. Joana has been involved as a paleographer in various projects, including transcribing documents for the Fragmenta Historica scientific journal, editing a manuscript from the National Library authored by Manuel Severim de Faria (1584-1655), and editing fiscal and accounting registers for Loulé (Algarve). Her areas of interest are Archival Studies, Women’s Religious Experiences and Environmental History.
