Edition and translation of treatises on falconry, and of encyclopedias (Bartholomaeus Anglicus). Study of manuscript diffusion of texts. Cultural history of birds in the medieval West. Manuscript culture. Publications include the full French translation, with Anne Paulus, of Frederick II’s treatise De arte venandi cum avibus (Nogent-le-Roi: Jacques Laget, 2000); and an edition, with Thomas Falmagne, of the medieval inventories of the dukes of Burgundy’s book collections in the 15th century (for the Corus catalogorum Belgii, Leuven: Peeters, 2016).
